Inspired by a fascination with lace and the labour involved in making it, these giant lace pieces are made using the traditional bobbin method, the irregular holes representing the disruption to our daily patterns by "life" caused by stresses we encounter along the way. Materials are sourced from the everyday: ties and suits for the work environment, tea towels, washing line and wire for the home.
